The Wedding Experience

Our style is where classic meets modern, for couples who are joyful & adventurous with a love for the coastal life. We approach your day from an editorial, or magazine-like, standpoint. We’re relaxed and easy going, but we also recognize that a wedding day is a carefully choreographed dance of both organic & curated moments. Our approach is a mixture of hanging back to capture the candid moments, while also knowing when to step in and help direct those moments that need it.

We believe in capturing as much of the day as possible, our baseline coverage starts at 8 hours. We truly value attention to detail and ensuring our couples have the most seamless day.

Micro Weddings

All the little details of a traditional wedding on a smaller, intimate scale.

Micro Weddings are events with under 25 guests, that are maintaining the same structure of a typical wedding day, just on a smaller more intimate scale.

The Process

Step One

Inquire

Fill out the contact form below, with as much info as possible about your wedding & vision. We will get back to you ASAP to confirm availability and send you our packages.

Step Two

Get Booked

When you’re ready to book we will send you a custom client booking link, where you will submit your contract & retainer. Once submitted you’re on the books!

Step Three

Say I Do

Over the course of planning we will discuss various details about your day, schedule your engagement session, and make sure we have every detail to prep for your day.

You may be wondering…

Once we’ve confirmed availability for your date you will be emailed a custom proposal. You can submit your contract and retainer electronically, and you’re all set!

As soon as your wedding has been booked, you can start thinking about scheduling your engagement photos. If you’re coming from out of town we suggest having at least a couple days, to allow flexibility in case of weather reschedules. Keep in mind Spring & Fall we often have weddings on weekends.

Our editing style is considered “Light & Airy”, and we bring an editorial (or magazine-like) approach to our photography. This means we focus on beautiful images that will stand the test of time without being overly formal and stuffy. In reality, this is a question we’d love to see go away! It matters less how *we* perceive our style, and in reality it’s about if YOU love our work

1000% YES. While we encourage all couples to have a planner or day-of coordinator, regardless of wedding size, for full-coverage weddings we do only accept bookings for couples who are utilizing the services of a professional planner or day-of coordinator. We feel it’s an essential addition to the wedding day team, and allows us the ability to be fully focused on capturing your day.

We are big advocates for a First Look, because we’ve seen first hand at countless weddings how much it can help the timeline of the day and single-handedly makes the couple less stressed. It’s also saved us on many a bad weather day, because we know we’ve got that extra time built in for photos, in the event of rain we’re often still able to have outside portraits.

However, we do firmly stand by the motto of “what is important to you is important to us” and not every wedding day (or venue!) needs or is a good fit for a First Look. We would never force or push a couple into a First Look if they didn’t want to. We try to be honest and transparent with couples about the kind of coverage they should expect when going the more traditional route. A First Look is one of the primary ways we’re able to capture the amount of variety on a wedding day. We’d love to chat with you more about our thoughts!

Absolutely! We’ve been lucky to capture weddings throughout the East Coast and beyond, love getting to capture events in unique places. Our passports are always ready and we’re avid lovers of travel!
